what's going on at dayspring?

Cultural activities as subjects include history, geography, botany, zoology, science, art and music. Through these, children get the opportunity to understand their own culture and also cultural diversity in the world and really enjoy it.

After the presentation of “the universe”, ‘Iz’ is figuring out which planet she lives on and ‘Sa’ is making her own chart of the solar system.

‘Hj’ is realizing that the earth has turned around the sun 5 times since she came to the world on her 5th birthday.

“I almost finished making the world map”. 3 year old ‘Nc’ is so excited to work with the world map.

This part is called ‘the inner core’, this part is ‘the mantle’. The boys together are working on the parts of the Earth. I know how to call this part, ‘the conduit’. ‘Se’ and ‘Hj’ are so very interested in knowing each part of a volcano.

Where does this belong? Non-living thing? or Living thing?  I am making a plant and animal book.

The directress is presenting to the children the parts of a tree, using a plant as a model. ‘Ab’ is working on the parts of a tree with cards.

Why is this part of a mushroom called ‘mycelium’ instead of a root?  The children are grasping the concepts of flowers and their seeds.

A boy and a girl are working on the “time line” of a frog and of a baby. This is a tadpole with four legs, this is a 5 months old baby.

Wow, this is a treasure box which South American people use. ‘Jc’ is so curious about cultural things.

Aha, this is magnetic and this is non-magnetic.  ‘Ax’ loves working with science materials.
