what's going on at dayspring?

At the beginning of our new school year 2014-2015 September 30, 2014

At the beginning of our new school year 2014-2015 in September, our children had been learning how to respect each other by working quietly in the classroom. They walk around other’s rug and tables nicely and carry materials slowly and carefully. They talk nicely and gently with their inside voice and sometimes need to get things right with another child and do so successfully using the peace rose.

The class is so beautiful and peaceful. Our children were very busy. They have worked with hand washing and scrubbing pumpkins, cutting papers, drawing pictures, arranging flowers, pouring water, etc. in their practical life area. These works create order in a child’s mind. These works help lead the child to reading and writing and help prepare them to develop their mathematical and scientific mind.
